Hey there! I am Christos a Product Designer. I love working in both UX research and design with a little bit of programming :) I started finding an interest in product design when I was in high school where I had the tools available to me to learn about designing and programming.
In my senior year I had taken AP Computer Science and Engineering Design and Development where I was exposed to the product engineering lifecycle from research to proof of concepts. This really sparked my love to combine technology and products. But I felt something was missing from this mixture. I loved paying attention to the smaller details.
Going to the Milwaukee School of engineering I decided that I wanted to work in Computer Science, but I still felt like there was a lack of research and working with people. I learned about a program called User Experience and immediately met with the Director, Nadia Shalamova and fell in love with the program. It was the missing piece I was looking for.
After Switching majors, I decided to try to get an internship early in my career to deepen my knowledge. I found a great company to work for called concurrency Inc to work at for my freshman summer. Since then, I have worked my way through shadowing to becoming a billable resource and leading two projects as a User Experience Engineer.
Outside of school I like to go out into the world and experience its beauty and weirdness. Sometimes I like to freelance and do work with non-profit companies, helping with website and social media expertise. I also love to work out and fitness in general!
